Five Reasons for Gift-Giving on St. Patrick’s Day

Becky Corrigan

It’s almost St. Patrick’s Day! Corned Beef ‘n Cabbage. Leprechauns, rainbows, and a pot o’ gold. Green food, green drinks, green everything! The City of Chicago even dyes the Chicago river green!  Elsewhere, city fountains spout green water to honor the day!

So why give someone special a gift to celebrate this fun-filled day?  Because...

  1. On March 17th, everyone’s Irish - loving, kind, giving.  (I oughta know; I’m married to one! Yea, I know: stubborn, too.  But he is kinda cute!)

  2. You already found the leprechaun’s gold when you found your sweetie / bestie / dear friend / (you fill in the blank) and you want to celebrate them with a gift from our Green Jewelry Collection!

  3. It’s the day for “wearing o’ the green” and your sweetie / bestie / dear friend sure would like a special something from our “Everything Green” sale...

  4. St. Patrick, honored on this day, was a giving soul, always thinking of others before himself.
  5. You want to.

When you do give a St. Patrick’s Day gift, don’t forget to include one of the many Irish blessings.

Here’s one for you, from all of us at

May your day be touched by a bit of Irish luck,
brightened by a song in your heart
and warmed by the smiles of the people you love.”
