According to the NY Times, “studies have shown an indisputable link between having a positive outlook and health benefits like lower blood pressure, less heart disease, better weight control and healthier blood sugar levels.” ¹
How? One thing at a time. As one seer put it, “The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.” Try one (or more) of these:
- Cultivate that positive outlook with a gratitude journal,
- Do small acts of kindness each day,
- Flip each negative thought to a more positive view,
- Connect with friends & family for support – even if it’s by text or video chat.
